Welcome Spring! The wind and longer days are a reminder that winter is behind us and Spring has sprung. With this change in weather, please be sure that your child’s extra change of clothing is weather appropriate for these warmer days. Also, a light jacket may still be in order since the weather can be unpredictable this time of the year.
Registration for the 2017-2018 school year is well underway. We have very limited space available in some of our classrooms, so if you have not yet turned in your registration form and deposit, please do so as soon as possible.
A few reminders regarding your children’s lunches that I would like to share; please avoid sending foods that are more prone to create a choking hazard, such as grapes, cherry tomatoes, etc. If you do choose to send these types of foods, we respectfully request that you cut them vertically to decrease the chance of choking. Did you know that a child’s windpipe is approximately the circumference of their smallest finger?
Although the school year ends on June 8th, the education at Merryhill continues with our Summer Session. Our Summer Session is an extension of your child’s learning, and builds on the skills that they have gained during the school year. Our school-aged students will embark on daily field trips, while keeping their minds stimulated with science, art, and other activities. Please click on the link below to view our Summer Session brochure.
