Dear Merryhill Families,
Let me start by thanking all of the families that took such great care of myself and Mrs. Wasiak on Valentines Day. We loved all of our treats. February was full of learning not only for our students but for our staff as well. Thank you for allowing us the time to offer training to our staff on our in-service day. Infants and toddler teachers had a refresher class on building an enriched lesson plan and sharing ideas with each other. The entire staff had an opportunity to brainstorm ideas with each other and refresh ourselves on food and health safety in our school.
March is full of great activities as well. We start by celebrating Dr. Seuss’s Birthday. This is a great time to share a good book with your child. We will have a special visitor that will play his bagpipes for us and share a bit about his culture. Keep a look out for party sign ups for St. Patricks’ day festivities. Don’t forget to wear your green of free dress day on March 17th.
Finally, If you have not registered for the Fall please check with the front office to get that accomplished before all of the placements are filled. Thanks you for all of your support.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Fitzgerald, Principal
