Message from the Principal
Dear Merryhill Families,
April has arrived, and we’re ready to SPRING into action! We’re back on track with celebrating and enjoying time together as a community!
This month, we will celebrate the children with our WEEK OF THE YOUNG CHILD celebration on April 28th. This wraps up a week long event, as each day will have special activities planned for the children based on the designated Links to Learning Skill! Also, we will be having a school-wide picnic on April 21st, so please be sure to bring a sack lunch for your child this day. This picnic is in honor of Earth Day, which will host a Lady Bug release and other fun Earth Day activities.
Speaking of celebrations, the next couple of months will include some of their own! Mother’s Day Tea in May, Father’s Day in June, and Pre-K graduation on June 15th! I am so excited to have the children show off all their hard work during their performances at each event!
I could go on for days about what amazing projects and experiences we have planned in each of the classrooms, but I do not want to spoil what is in store! However, I will say to keep an eye out for our newest classmates — the BUTTERFLIES — that the children will watch grow throughout this month!
As always, if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me at your convenience. My door is always open, and I’m only an email click or phone call away!
Sincerely,
Jherica McEndree, Principal
