From the Principal’s Office
As we all try to beat the summer heat and keep cool, summer at Merryhill is simply refreshing! Our children are beginning to feel comfortable in their new classes and are quickly making new friends. Ask your child what they are learning in their classrooms, you’ll be surprised! If you need assistance in getting information out of your child, check out the “What We Learned Today” posted on the Parent Boards, the classroom newsletters on the classroom doors, or simply speak with your child’s teacher. They are there to help you in any way that they can. You can also check out our school website at: http://laguna.merryhillschool.com. Most importantly, I send out a weekly “This Week at Merryhill” via your email. This weekly update will help you with all the important dates coming up and what is happening during the week at our school.
All of us at Merryhill would like to welcome all of our new families that have joined us this past month. We are so glad that you are part of the Merryhill family. We hope that your child’s experience at Merryhill is memorable.
Fall Portrait Days are coming on Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday August 28th-30th. We will be taking individual portraits, as well as class pictures. Bring your smiles!! Please check the calendar for your child’s portrait day. Due to high attendance on both of these days, we will not be able to accommodate switching of days.
