Our school year is underway. The halls are buzzing with laughter and learning and everyone is getting into their new routines.
Our parking lot is a busy place, especially during early morning and late afternoon times. Please pay extra close attention to your surroundings as there are little ones everywhere. Check behind you several times before backing out, slow down as you pass through the parking lot and remember; no u-turns in front of the school. It takes all of us working together to keep our little ones safe.
Remember that tuition is due by the 5th of the month and is subject to a late fee. Please make sure to drop your tuition at the front desk each month prior to that date.
When checking your child in or out for the day, it is important that you do so when your child is in your care. Please stop by the keypad in the lobby prior to taking your child to class in the morning and after retrieving your child in the afternoon.
If you have not stopped by the front desk to pick up closure and event calendars, please do so. They will help you stay informed and plan your calendar for the year. There are many events that you will not want to miss out on.
Please take note of the following dates:
Lifetouch School Portraits will be on campus August 30, 31 and September 1st. Please check with your child’s teacher to confirm which days their class is scheduled.
We will be closed on Monday, September 4th, for the Labor Day holiday.
Back to School Night will be held on Wednesday, September 6th, from 6:30-7:30 pm. This is an evening designed for the adults. Your child’s teacher will be presenting important information on classroom expectations for the year. Please leave your little ones at home and plan on joining us.
Calling all grandparents…please join us for breakfast and special time with your little one on Friday, September 8th, from 8:15-9:00 am. Allow us to celebrate the important impact that you have on your little one’s life.
The second of ten Pizza Fridays will take place on Friday, September 8th. If you have not already signed your child up to participate and would like to do so, please stop by the front desk.
We will host a coin drive to support Leukemia research from September 11th through September 22nd. If you would like to help out, please gather up all of your loose change and drop it by the front desk.
Our fall Scholastic Book Fair will be held from September 18th through the 22nd. If you have a little free time on your hands and are looking for a way to help out, the book fair is a great way to do so. We are looking for volunteers to help out during our busy drop off and pick up times. If this sounds interesting to you, please see someone at the front desk so that we can give you a time slot that is convenient for you.
Petting Zoo 2 u will be on campus with their bunnies, ducks, goats and more on Thursday, September 28th, from 9:00-11:00 am. Please check with your child’s teacher regarding each classroom’s scheduled times.
I look forward to an amazing school year with all of you.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Luther
