Welcome back to school! It’s so nice to see all the familiar and new faces of students and families. As students settle in to their new classrooms, I’d like to remind parents and families to stop by, email, or phone any time. The beginning of a new school year is a transition period for the entire family.
September will be an exciting month as we host Back to School Night on Wednesday, 09/06/17 at 6 pm. Find out what your child will be doing in class for the next 9 months and ask to see your child’s learning goals. Grandparents and families, make plans to join us as we celebrate Grandparent’s Day with lunch on Friday, 09/08/17.
Thank you for trusting us with the education and care of your child/children. Thank you for sharing your family with our Merryhill family.
Please note: We are COMPLETELY NUT FREE. Please do not send any nut products in your child’s lunch. If your child is a fan of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, a couple of great alternatives are Wow Butter and sunflower butter. If you do send one of these products, please label it in your child’s lunch box so that the teachers know that it is a safe product for school.
Please be sure that your child has a COMPLETE change of clothes at school at all times. This is important in case of spills or bathroom accidents.
Picture days will be September 18th – 20th.
My door is always open so feel free to stop and say hello.
Sincerely,
Ashlie McEuen, Principal
