Wow, the weather changed so it must be time for Fall. September brought several new friends to our school. We had 8 new families join our program. If you see a new face please take the time to introduce yourself and help them feel like part of our Merryhill Family. Some other great things that took place in September were our very successful Back to School Night. Thank you to all of the families that took the time to learn a bit more about our school and our fabulous teachers. Another exciting event was the Grandparents Day celebration. This was a big hit. Our grandparent’s shared lunch with the children and were presented with a gift from their grandchildren. This is a very special day to see the generations together. We are looking forward to having an action packed month of family filled events. If you have not had a chance to volunteer in the school there are two fun events coming up. We are always looking for help on Pizza Thursday. Also, on November 3rd our famous Fall Festival will be taking place. This is a great event to get to know your child’s fellow classmates and their families. It’s a night of food, fun and family. Please stop by the front desk to let us know if your are able to help.
Let’s talk about Campus Club.. They have informed us that they have been able to catch up with all of the back orders. Just a quick reminder that Campus Club is our exclusive uniform vendor. Uniforms need to be purchased at either of their two locations or online using our school code of 1030. We also have a few gently used uniforms sold by our Parent Association. This money goes directly back to our children and special events here at our school. When purchasing uniforms for our girls please make sure they are long enough. Dresses should at least hit the knee or be longer. Keep in mind that the cute polo dresses shrink so buy them big.
Keep your eyes out for all of the exciting things planned for October so you don’t miss anything.
Thanks for sharing your families with us!
