Dear Merryhill Families,
Thank you all for participating in our Thanksgiving activities last month. We collected over 2,000 food items to donate to HELP of Southern Nevada. Classrooms celebrated Thanksgiving in their classrooms as they enjoyed a variety of feasts such as “Friends-giving” and a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. December will be another fun and busy month for our teachers and students as we continue our Holiday Giving activities with the HELP of Southern Nevada/KLUC toy drive. Families are already donating and can continue the giving through December 7th as we will be delivering the toys to Chet Buchanan and the Morning Zoo on December 8th. We will celebrate the holidays with our Holiday Program on December 13th at 6:00pm at the elementary school next door. The children will enjoy a fun snow day with a variety of activities on December 20th. We will have our Polar Express style Pajama Day on December 22nd. Students are invited to bring a book to exchange with a classmate. Winter Camp kicks off on December 26th and runs through January 5th. We will be closed for the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays.
Whatever holidays you celebrate this time of year, we wish you the happiest of holidays and a prosperous new year!
