Happy New Year Merryhill families:
Thank you for joining us at our Holiday Program. I hope everyone had a wonderful time! There was a lot of fun to be had, enjoying cookies and hot cocoa, shopping at our Little Shopper’s Shoppe, visiting with Santa, and enjoying the sounds of sweet little voices ringing out in song.
Our annual toy drive was a huge success thanks to your kind and giving hearts. We donated 120 toys, 6 bikes, and $380.00 in gift cards to the KLUC toy drive. Thank you so much for helping us put smiles on little faces.
Thank you for the generous gifts and kind words that you blessed me with. They were greatly appreciated and made me feel so special.
We are jumping into the new year with both feet. We will be welcoming a new teacher to our Intermediate classroom and to our team. Mrs. Napoleon comes to us with years of experience, glowing recommendations, and a Bachelors in Early Childhood. We are thrilled to be welcoming her to our team.
After a wonderful and quiet two weeks of Winter Camp, school will resume on Monday, January 8th.
We will be closed on the following dates: Monday, January 1st, Monday, January 15th, and Tuesday, January 16th.
Who says that snow does not fall in Henderson, Nevada? On Friday, January 19th, 7 tons of snow will fall over Merryhill Preschool. Boots, mittens, hats, and a warm jacket will be in order as we spend the day playing in the snow. Parents are welcome to bring their cameras and join in on the fun.
If you know of a family who is interested in receiving more information about our programs, please invite them to our Open House on Saturday, January 20th, from 10:00 am-1:00 pm.
Thank you for a wonderful 2017. I am looking forward to seeing what 2018 has in store.
