We’re lookin’ forward to a rootin’, tootin’ good time as we saddle up for our Registration Roundup! Priority Registration for the 2018-2019 school year will be a-startin’ on March 7, and will stick around through March 16. On Wednesday, March 7, only, for all our favorite cowpokes, we’ll be offerin’ registration for $75 plus the activity fee ($65) for toddlers and above! March 8 – 16, registration will be takin’ a little price hike to $90, plus the activity fee. After March 16, that fee will be increasin’ again to the returnin’ student rate of $140, plus the activity fee. Ya’ll don’t wanna miss out on them savin’s and you’ll know yer youngins have a spot for next year. And remember folks, we’ll be more’n happy to answer any questions ya’ll might have about next year.
We will celebrate Read Across America Day the first week of March with a western flair by sharing books about cowboys and cowgirls, rodeos and horses with our students. There are some great activities planned for this week, so make sure to check in with your child to see what is happening!
We’ll celebrate St. Patrick’s Day a little early this year, on March 16. The students always look forward to whatever mischief a certain Leprechaun might leave behind when he comes to visit on St. Patrick’s Day! They just never know what kind of trouble he will cause! He usually leaves a special treat for them though, so I guess that makes the trouble worth it!
As always, we appreciate your continued confidence in Merryhill and are grateful for the opportunity to share in your children’s lives.
Warmly,
Sue Stewart
Principal

Nut Free: We are a NUT FREE school. We do have some students with nut allergies and appreciate your help in keeping all of our children safe and healthy.
California Licensing Regulations require that parents check children into and out of our school with the electronic check-in system.
Tuition Options: We appreciate that you make every effort to make your tuition payments on time. As you are aware, tuition payments are due on Monday of each week (or on your child’s first day of attendance). To save you time, the headache of having to remember your checkbook every Monday and to avoid those pesky late fees, consider enrolling in our automatic payment program at no charge. We also accept credit card payments. Please talk to Sue or Aubrey for more information.
Art Files: Please remember to check them at least once a week to pick up any correspondence between the office and/or teachers, along with your child’s amazing art work.
Clothing and Nap Items: Remember to update your child’s extra clothing as the seasons change and your child grows! Please label all of their items so we can return anything that may be forgotten at the end of the day. Any soiled items will be placed in plastic bags and put into your child’s cubby. Each child needs a blanket and crib size sheet for rest time. Sheets and blankets must be taken home on Fridays (or you child’s last day of attendance during the week), laundered and returned on the first day of attendance the following week.
LTL Files: Links to Learning files are available on the last day of each month. These files provide you with information about the skills your child will learning in the upcoming month, as well as a snapshot of what has been accomplished in the current month through the work you will find in the folder.
