A Note From Our Principal,
Spring has finally arrived and we want to make sure all of our students take full advantage of our outdoor play spaces. One of the best ways to do this is by cleaning out your child’s cubby and getting ready for the new season! Please make sure that your child’s cubby has a full set of weather appropriate clothes that are labeled and that fit. Many of our children have grown a lot since the start of the year, so new clothes would be a great addition to their cubby!
Now is a great time to bring in sunscreen so that we are ready for those sunny days! Please label all containers of sunscreen that you send to school with your child and ensure that you have a filled out a permission form that allows us to apply sunscreen to your child. You can find this form in the lobby or ask the office staff if you already have one on file.
Please bring a hat for your child each day as it will be sunny from here on out! If you’d like to leave a hat at the school, please label it and leave it in your child’s cubby.
Please ensure you send your child(ren) to school with closed-toed shoes. This is a part of our licensing requirements and ensures the safety of our children as they run around the playground and participate in their school activities.
When dropping off your children in the morning, you must greet your teacher so they are aware that your child is in now in their care. We cannot have children inside the school without direct Teacher Supervision. If the children are playing outside and your child needs to have a snack before joining their peers, they may do so outside at one of the picnic tables.
Sincerely,
Jill McSpadden
