Fall is officially here. The mornings bring a coolness to the air, the stores are filled with pumpkins, owls and ghosts, and we look forward to spending more time outdoors.
There are some important dates approaching for you to take note of:
- October 1-12=Coin drive to support Leukemia research. If you would like to donate your loose change, please stop by the front desk to pick up a bag to collect and return your donation in.
- October 12=Fun Friday. This month’s Fun Friday lunch will be Chick-fil-a. If you have not already signed your child up, but would like him/her to participate, please stop by the front desk prior to this date.
- October 25, from 5-7 pm=Halloween Extravaganza. You do not want to miss this fun-filled event! A great time is sure to be had by all. Bring the entire family for games, food, and FUN! FUN! FUN!
- October 26-Nevada Day observed-No school
- October 31-Classroom Halloween parties. Please check with your child’s teacher for specific classroom details.
Also, a few important reminders:
- Please remember that all Lifetouch portraits and/or payment, need to be returned by no later than October 5th.
- Our parent handbook has been updated and sent to you via Links 2 Home. Some changes have been made. Please make sure that you read the updated handbook, and sign and return the signature page by October 8th.
- Student paperwork, to update your child’s file, was sent home in July. If you have not already completed and returned yours to Mrs. Louis-Jacques, please do so immediately so that we are sure to have the most current information on your child.
