Welcome Winter! The cooler weather has finally arrived and 2018 is coming to an end. Our school has endured a lot of changes this year. We have endured a flood, said goodbye to some wonderful team members, and hello to many new faces. We welcome 2019 and all of the wonderful surprises that it has in store.
It was wonderful to see so many family members at our Thanksgiving Feast. Thank you for joining and sharing a meal with us. Thank you for all of your generous donations during our food drive. Our kindergarten and first grade students will be delivering over 300 non-perishable food items to assist in feeding homeless youth in our valley.
Please take note of the following dates and mark them on your calendar:
- Our toy drive will continue through Friday, December 7th. Please bring all donations in no later than close of business on this date. Thank you to everyone who has already donated.
- The next Fun Friday will take place on Friday, December 14th. This month, Wendy’s will be supplying lunches for our students. If you haven’t already signed your child up and would like them to participate, please check with the front desk prior to close of business on Wednesday, December 12th.
- Please join us on Friday, December 14th, from 6-8 pm, for our annual Holiday Program. There will be fun activities for all to enjoy.
- The school will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, December 24th, 25th, and 31st and January 1st. We will be open Wednesday through Friday of both weeks, from 7 am until 6 pm. All reservation forms MUST be turned in no later than close of business on Monday, December 3rd. After that date, we cannot guarantee availability for your child.
However you celebrate this time of year, take time to rest, take in the sights, and spend time with those that you love.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Luther
