A Note From Our Principal,
February was a great month at our school! We had several parents come in and read to our students for Read Across America Week, soccer started up and almost all of our students got their Vision checked! Dr. Seuss week will be spilling over into March so that we can incorporate more of these special activities for our students. In anticipation of spring, we are busy planning our vegetable garden and the teachers are busy incorporating meaningful learning activities that will help our students gain an appreciation for the changing seasons. In order to make the most of the next few months we will be spending lots of time outdoors in the garden and getting our hands dirty, so please make sure your child has a fresh change of weather appropriate clothes in their cubby.
Don’t forget to check out our 1020 School Menu – March 2019.
Sincerely,
Jill McSpadden
Parent Reports
If you would like to follow up on your child’s Parent Report with a Parent Meeting, please reach out to Ms. Jill. Parent Meetings are scheduled at the request of the parent, so please don’t be shy if this is something you would find beneficial.
Birthday Celebrations
We saw some very creative non-food celebrations for our birthdays this past month! Beginner 2 created masks and Intermediates had story time with parents!
I want to thank all of you for embracing this change and helping us move forward in creating a healthy learning environment for our students. The students have been loving the new activities that have been coming in!

Dr. Seuss Activity Day
On March 11th, we are calling on all of our students to come dressed as their favorite Dr. Seuss character! Be creative! Crazy hair like Thing 1? Crazy hats like The Cat in the Hat? Silly Socks like the Fox? All of the classrooms, infants included, will be participating in Dr. Seuss activities on this day.
Tiny Tykes Soccer
You can still sign up if you would like your child to participate! https://challenger.configio.com/orglandingpage?org=2091
Rainy Days will be rescheduled once the weather clears up a bit. We will try to schedule makeup days for a Thursday, so the students may have 2 classes in one week.
As these dates are scheduled, I will pass them along to you.
Parent Referral Bonus
Do you know anyone that has recently had a baby, relocated to the area, or is seeking a new preschool for their child? We are always happy to meet the friends of our current families, and offer a free week of tuition for any current parent referral that enrolls in our school. See the front desk for details!
