A Note From Our Principal
Fall is in full swing and our students are enjoying the extra outdoor time, nature walks and seasonal curriculum activities. Our soccer, dance and gymnastics ancillary programs are also back up and running, and we are enjoying watching our students learn and grow in their extracurricular activities. We also have new classes including Merryhill Mini Stars Music, Junior Docs and Jam with Kam, Zumba for kids!
We will begin planning for our annual holiday giving community support initiative soon, so stay tuned for more information! As always, please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Jami Yingling, Principal
Fall Cubby Refresh
Our teachers have many fun outdoor activities planned for our students this month. Please check your child’s cubby and ensure that their extra set of clothes is weather appropriate so that your child can participate in everything planned for their class as well as having a sweater available for your child if they are chilly in the classroom.
Your Opinion Matters!
Our parent survey is launching soon and we’d appreciate you spending a few minutes to take the survey. You will receive an invitation by email on 10/2. Please let us know if you do not receive it!
Fall Into Reading- Fall Literacy Night

Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Students and teachers are hard at work coming up with ideas to decorate their classroom pumpkins. The pumpkins will be on display from October 21st-October 31st. Please cast a vote for your favorite pumpkin. The winning class gets a special fall treat!
Project Pumpkin Patch
Project Pumpkin Patch begins next week. Decorate a pumpkin to share in our courtyard for some fun fall decor! Faux pumpkins are encouraged as we do have wildlife in the area that like to nibble!
Halloween Parties and Trunk or Treat
Our classrooms will be celebrating Halloween together with trick-or-treating, crafts and a costume parade on October 31st. Your child’s teacher will let you know if anything specific is needed for their class. We can’t wait to see all of our students in costume!
