What a great start to October! We kick off this month with our annual Fall Festival. This event is filled with fun, family and friends. We hope everyone can attend and connect with other families. October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We will be gathering donations to help support our local chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Enjoy a free dress Friday with a donation to this great cause. We will finish our month with a costume parade around our school and spooktacular parties in the rooms. Please keep your eyes open for party sign-up’s. Now for November reminders. Please save the date for our Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday, November 21st. We will assign lunch times as we get closer to the date. We hope to see everyone for a feast to remember! November is also Parent/Teacher Conference time. We will be closed on Friday, November 8th so we can take that time to sit down and share all of the wonderful things we have learned about your child. This is a great time for you to share with us some of your goals for the year. We are excited to share your child’s progression since the beginning of the year.
Missing in action. I will be attending our annual Leadership Conference from October 20th to October 24th so Mrs. Wasiak will be holding down the fort. If you have any questions or concerns she will be happy to help. I will take this time to listen and learn so I can bring back new and innovative ideas from all of my colleagues and our Education team.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Fitzgerald, Principal
