Dear Merryhill Families,
What a wonderful month of October! It started with our Fall Festival that was enjoyed by all families that attended. We had a great turn out! Hopefully, everyone had a chance to meet new people and form lifelong friendships. Next up in our busy month I had the opportunity to attend our Leadership Conference and present to over 200 fellow principals. Thank you for all of the kind words from our families when I returned from this week of learning and networking. I promise to share all of the terrific things I learned with the teachers at our school. We are lucky to have a support system that cares so much about the education of not only the children but everyone from the top down. We finished our month with our Costume Parade and yummy treats. Thank you to all of the families that helped support these parties.
Now on to November. We will be hosting Parent/Teacher Conferences on Friday, November 8th. The teachers are looking forward to sharing all that they have learned about your child and talk about some of your expectations for the year. Save the date to attend our 20th annual Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday, November 21st. Specific lunch times will be assigned closer to the date depending on our number of attendees. All are welcome so keep your eyes open for the invitation.
Thank you for a great October and see you at our Thanksgiving Feast
Sincerely,
Mrs, Fitzgerald
