Priority registration has ended! Thank you for loving our school and wanting to come back year after year! All of you have registered for preschool and returning to us next school year except for one, but that family is hopefully signing up for kinder at our sister school 😉

What is commitment? Dedication, loyalty, trust, and promise are just a few words that describe commitment. These are very powerful words! I have committed myself to Merryhill School for 28 years because I love our school, I take pride in our school, and our company takes good care of us! I am sure this is how all of you feel and we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for committing to Merryhill School! After our stellar Open House we are now full in all of our classrooms with waiting lists to get into the new school year! Thanks to our amazing teachers and our families who love us so much and spread the word of Merryhill School to others!
I would like to share with you an amazing book that we just happened to find last week. After looking at the book more closely, we discovered it was written by one of our very own Merryhill parents. This book is a perfect fit to our school’s culture and practice. The story line of this book replicates just a few of the many beliefs and values here at Merryhill School, those being kind, having manner, working together as a team, and caring for our earth. Hello future kindergarten families!
We are so excited that your child will be transitioning into elementary school this coming fall. We are offering personal onsite and virtual tours to all our families by appointment only.
We have February tour dates available, so please be sure to schedule a private onsite or virtual tour by contacting Ms. Christine at christine.van@merryhillschool.com or call our front office team at 408-254-1282. We look forward to meeting each one of you!
We are pleased to let you know that we are still registering for our Elementary School! Registration packets are available for all age groups, Kindergarten through Fifth grade.

* February 22nd – 26th – Scholastic Book Fair Virtually
* March 1st and 2nd – Lifetouch Picture Day! We will finally have our Lifetouch pictures taken! You will need to fill out a form that will let us know if you do not wish for your child to take their picture with Lifetouch this year. More details to come at the end of February.
* March 2nd – Dr Seuss’s Birthday *A special visitor will come and read to the students* (Don’t worry, it will be Ms Heather 😊)
* March 5th – School Closed- Teacher In-service Day!
* March 20th – Open House for outside families
*April 2nd – Easter Egg Hunt at Morning Recess
*April 12th – 16th – Week of the Young Child **We have had Pony Rides, Puppet Shows, Reptile Shows and other vendors come to the school in the past. We will share the week’s schedule as soon as we have everything planned.**We hope to be able to hold those events this year too, but if not, that is OK! We will come up with other extra fun activities to enjoy that week.
