Hello…
We are loving the nice weather, the children are able to go outside daily and are busy with a variety of activities that keep them active outside.
Our first big event this month will be a Celebration of Week of the Young Child. This is a week long celebration of our favorite humans – Kids! National Association for the Education of Young Children began this celebration to honor why it is so important to start the education process early. We will be enjoying a variety of fun events in each classroom:
- Music Monday
- Tasty Tuesday
- Work Together Wednesday
- Artsy Thursday
- Family Friday
Don’t worry – we will send lots of pictures and videos for you to enjoy.
We will also be celebrating Earth Day on April 22nd by taking the opportunity to plant a variety of different plants around our yard – flowers and vegetables. All classes will participate.
Thanks to all of you who donated eggs and/or treats for our Egg Hunt. It was a huge success, the children (and teachers) all had a great time. Thanks again to Mile’s Dad for grilling our hotdogs and to Kainoa’s Dad for creating a video to share.
Ms. Susan
