Dear Parents,
I can’t believe that the end of the school year is upon us. While this year, no doubt, has been a challenging one, it has also been a year that we will never forget. Working together we all came together, staff, parents, children and were able to safely navigate through the pandemic and provide these little ones with an place to learn, socialize and feel comfortable. We look forward to more “normal” times, and at the same time maintaining the appropriate safety protocols.
We have welcomed parents back into the school and have started in person tours again. We are also looking forward to our very first in person event in a year – Pre-Kindergarten Graduation. This year, each family will be able to invite two people to see their little ones graduate as they prepare to move onto Kindergarten.
June 21st begins a new year – and as summer continues, you will see more things going back to “normal”. We are in talks to open back to our regular hours and to bring lunch back soon. The children and staff will continue to wear masks because we will be inside with larger groups and none of the children can be vaccinated (yet!). All sanitizing, disinfecting, handwashing and wellness checks will continue as these help to minimize all risks of illness.
We hope that soon we will all be able to celebrate in person – it probably will not be the end of summer, but maybe in the fall we can once again think about family bbq’s or events. It’s been too long.
Regardless – we are looking forward to a great new year.
As always, we want to thank you for your support throughout this last year. We worked together to maintain the children’s safety and you spoiled us with numerous breakfast treats, lunches, chocolate, flowers and other gifts.
