A Note From Our Principal

Welcome to our new families joining us in August. We have a fun filled month ahead of us as the children transition into the classrooms. Merryhill Laguna understands the importance of communication and building relationships with our families, so we are excited to have our meet the administration team coffee and snacks on August 11th. As we meet our families we also like to give back to our community, we started to collect items for our annual Kids Helping Kids Project where we are donating Backpack items for the Sacramento Children’s Home. I am awed with how many donations we received thus far, we truly have an amazing Merryhill family! We still have a few more weeks of summer and our teachers are hard at work preparing our classrooms for the new school year. I hope everyone is enjoying all the photos and videos they are receiving on our Links to home app. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

If you’re not currently receiving photos and daily reports for your child, you can easily change this by downloading the Links 2 Home app on your phone. Just type ‘Links 2 Home’ in the search bar for the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. After downloading, you can register with the same email address that you used to enroll your child in our school. Once you activate your account, you will receive a wealth of information about your child’s day from your child’s teacher.

Amazing Athletes

Get ready for Sports day on August 20th. Your children will enjoy learning and playing games with their classmates. We are also excited to announce that Amazing Athletes are returning to provide our Intermediates and Pre-K students with a variety of sports. If you are interested in joining, please sign up for our demo class on August 17th. Classes will begin on August 31st.

Updating your information in Alma

Have you changed your email address or phone number? Need to add or remove an emergency contact? You can do this at any time in Alma. If you need help logging in or accessing the system, please let us know.

Parent Referral Bonus 

Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition.  Ask us for details!

Illness Policy

Thank you to our Merryhill community as we continue to create a safe and healthy environment. Together we continue to wash hands, disinfect, sanitize and provide wellness checks.

As a friendly reminder please follow our illness and safety guidelines:

• Children 2 and up are required to wear masks
•  Fever of 100 degress and up-must be fever free for 24 hours
• Vomiting, diarrhea or stomach upset
• Heavy nasal discharge requiring wiping every 3-5 minutes
• Persistent, non-productive or barking cough
• Fussy, cranky behavior unlike child’s normal demeanor that may indicate illness
