A Note From Our Principal
Fall is in full swing and our students are enjoying the extra outdoor time, nature walks and seasonal curriculum activities. We ended the month of September with celebrating Johnny Appleseed’s Birthday! The children enjoyed apple taste tests and fun apple activities through out the week. We are kicking the month of October off with celebrating National Hair Day! The children will enjoy getting creative with crazy hair! I am looking forward to seeing all the craziness! During the month of October, the children will explore pumpkins through science, literacy and creative expression! We are planning fun fall-themed activities for our students this month and are excited to share photos with you all through Links 2 Home. As always, please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Karina Medina

Pony Pictures
Are you ready for a pony ride? On October 11th and 12th, the children will have an opportunity to dress up as a cowboy/girl and take photos on a pony. After pictures the children will enjoy a pony ride!
Fire House Visit
During the month of October, our Intermediate and Pre-k classes will be learning about Fire Safety. What better way to learn about the fire station, is to visit an actual Sacramento County Station. For the safety of all, the children will visit the Cosumnes station via zoom. How exciting to meet a real firefighter and explore their daily routine at the fire house. Get your fire hats ready and enjoy the tour!
