A Note From Our Principal
We hope your children enjoyed their fall lessons, pumpkin themed activities and classroom celebrations last month. Seeing our students enjoy their Halloween costumes and fall attire is one of the highlights of the year for us. Thank you for allowing us to be part of these special occasions! This month we are focusing on gratitude and connecting with others. We are starting the month off celebrating National Literacy Day! Please join us by reading to your child before bed time! Don’t forget to ask questions about the story to get your child involved. To continue with National Literacy Day we will have a Literacy week with the Scholastic Book Fair joining us the week of November 15th. This month the children will also enjoy our annual Friendship Feast on the 22nd. The children will prepare by making items and setting up their classroom tables. While sitting at the tables everyone will have an opportunity to share their Holiday traditions and food favorites! We have many special activities planned for our students and are looking forward to sharing photos with you all on Links 2 Home. As always, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Karina Medina
