Dear Parents,

April has arrived and so has the warmer weather.  Spring is in the air and also in our classrooms.  I love walking around and seeing the children explore things such as weather, animals, flowers, plants…so many hands on activities.

This month we will be celebrating Week of the Young Child the week of April 4th – 8th.  We will have a different Book (theme) each day and the children will experience many fun activities.

• Quick as a Cricket – Children will have an opportunity to move their bodies with Amazing Athletes and Zumba
• The Very Hungry Caterpillar – Children will go to the “Merryhill Movie” Theater
• If You Give A Pig A Pancake – Children will enjoy piggy pancakes
• Punk Farm  –  The Mobile Petting Zoo will visit
• Goodnight Moon –  Pajama Day

We will also be hosting our annual Spring Egg Hunt on Friday, April 15th  and the Scholastic Book Fair will be here from April 11th – 15th.

Looks like we are going to have a great April.
