A Note From Our Principal
Fall is in full swing! Our students are having a blast exploring colored leaves and feeling the crisp air outdoors as they participate in fun, seasonal activities. We were excited to meet and see so many Grandparents joining us for our special “There’s Muffin’ Like Grandparents” event. Our students sure enjoyed those special visits!
We strive to provide our students with robust educational opportunities through hands-on learning by offering engaging opportunities for students to learn through exploration. This month, our students will be able to discover the various parts of a pumpkin and examine its seeds and pulp.
Throughout the month of October, we will celebrate National Book Month as we focus the importance of reading, writing and literature. Students are welcome to bring in and share their favorite books with their class and we invite families to join us for story time to read to their child’s classroom any time during the month of October.
Mark your calendars! Our Fall Festival event is on Saturday, October 22 from 10:00am-1:00pm. This interactive Touch-a-Truck event will feature vehicles such as a Tractor, FBI Bearcat, CHP cruiser, Nor-Cal Vacuum truck and more for the children to explore and touch. Costumes are welcome as there will be a variety of Fall games to play, art activities, a photo booth and even an Usborne Book Fair to purchase books. We can’t wait to enjoy this event with you!
We look forward to another month full of learning, fun, and play!
Sincerely,
Melissa Moenning
