November Newsletter

Hello Merryhill Families,

It was so wonderful to see all our families together again at our Fall Festival. Thank you very much for all of the raffle basket donations and for taking the time to come out to spend the day with us. We look forward to many more family events in the future!

With November upon us, the feel of the crisp air and cooler temperatures are refreshing. The leaves of the trees are changing to yellow, brown and red. This is one of my favorite times of the year. It is also a time to reflect on what we are thankful for, our health, family and of course friends. We are so thankful for all our families here at Merryhill.

Throughout the month the children will be busy making lots of Fall projects, learning all about friendships during our World Kindness day and we are looking forward to a friendship feast on Friday, November 18th. This is a day the children will have a great opportunity to share a meal with each other with traditional foods of the season. Please be on the lookout for a sign-up sheet on the doors of the classrooms.

One final note, thank you for trusting us to take care of your child. We know you can pick any preschool in the Sacramento area. We pledge to create the safe, nurturing, fun learning environment you are accustomed to.

Warm regards,

Terrie Cook, Principal
