Dear Families,
For the upcoming 2023-2024 school year, our Merryhill Corning students will relocate to our Merryhill Yosemite Campus located at 1500 Yosemite Dr. Milpitas, CA 95035.
The Merryhill Yosemite campus has been educating students from Jr. Kindergarten to 8th grade for more than twenty-five years and is well versed in our Links to Learning curriculum. This move will give every Intermediate and Pre-Kindergarten class their own classroom space. Merryhill Corning students will now have Art, Music etc. classes taught by our trained Specialty Teachers and get some of the extracurricular benefits of being part of a larger campus such as Big Brother/Big Sister events, Assemblies, and so much more.
Our wonderful preschool teachers will be making the transition as well. For several years, they have joined the Yosemite campus staff for Professional Development Days and employee meetings. The preschool teachers will be able to collaborate and collect daily once the move occurs, which will provide them with more support moving forward.
I am thrilled about these campuses joining together and I am so happy the Merryhill Corning teachers are as excited as me. One of the joys of being a Head of School is that I get to see children grow each year and can celebrate their long list of achievements annually which culminate at our 8th grade graduation ceremony.
Best regards,
Mrs. Quinn Letan
