It’s always the season of love at Merryhill-Harbour Point! Friendship, kindness, and laughter fill each classroom. What a joy to be part of such a wonderful place. February brings many new adventures to our school. We will be learning all about our Chinese New Year, the shadows with Mr. Groundhog, go back in time to learn the importance of President Lincoln and President Washington, Black History month, dental awareness month and how to take care of our teeth. Priority Registration will soon be underway for the 2024-2025 school year. We anticipate full enrollment for the upcoming school year, so it is very important to register early to reserve your child’s spot.

2024-2025 Priority registration “We are going to have a colorful year!” Between February 5th-16th, you can save your child’s spot for the new school year and save 50% off the registration fee for the 2024/2025 school year. The Letter of Intent form will be sent home and emailed out on Friday February 2nd. By submitting your signed copy of the Letter of Intent form, you are ensuring your child’s spot for the next classroom, which starts on June 24th, 2024
We anticipate full enrollment, again, for the next year. We cannot guarantee space availability after Feb 16, as registration will be opened to the public and the registration fee will no longer be discounted at the 50%.

*check or money order of $135 ($70 reg fee & $65 activity fee)

Black History Month- February is Black History Month. It is a time to honor the culture, accomplishments, and important contributions of African Americans. We’ll be celebrating in the classroom by reading books, making arts and crafts, and continuing our discussion on acceptance and belonging.
Valentines Day Class Celebrations-Wednesday February 14- We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14th. Children are invited to bring in valentines to share with their classmates. Each classroom will have a Valentine’s Day party to celebrate their friendships, as well as participate in Valentine-themed activities throughout the day. Please sign-up to bring in a treat for the class to enjoy during their party.
When helping your child write out their valentine cards, please feel free to write “to my friend” instead of each child’s name, as this makes it easier when they are passing out their cards. Please feel free to also dress your child in Valentine’s colors on this day.
Parent Referral Bonus –Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!
