A Note from Our Principal
The year is off to a great start and we’re enjoying spending the winter season with you and your children. We had a fun filled month during January! We celebrated our hero Martin Luther King Jr. and talked about our dream for our future. I enjoyed seeing all the super hero costumes, it is always fun with dramatic play! February is here and we are looking forward to seeing if Punxsutawney Phil will see his shadow. If you have not already done so, please send an extra set of weather-appropriate clothes for your child. We want everyone to be able to participate in the fun outdoor activities we have planned, so please be sure to provide appropriate outerwear (If applicable to your school). As always, working with and watching your children grow is an honor. Thank you for choosing our preschool for your family.
Black History Month
Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. Our students will learn about local and influential African Americans through books, learning experiences, and classroom discussions. Be on the look out as our office will post some important facts about our influential African Americans.
Valentine’s Day
We will celebrate Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14th. Children are invited to bring in valentines to share with their classmates and will participate in Valentine-themed activities throughout the day. The teachers will join the fun by decorating a Valentine box. I am looking forward to seeing their creativity and characters!
Priority Re-Enrollment
We are going on a school hunt….Merryhill is a good one!
Priority re-enrollment starts February 5th! Take advantage of our registration discount and secure your child’s spot for next school year. We are “beary” excited to have your child join for another eventful experience! More information will be sent via Links 2 Home.
