A Note from Our Principal
Summer is in full swing, and we are soaking up all the seasonal fun. From spending time outdoors enjoying water play to building friendships and participating in new learning experiences, we’re creating a summer to remember! Water Wednesdays will run through the month of July with a Family Water Play Day at the end of the month.
We have some exciting activities and events planned for this school year, so keep an eye out for flyers, door postings, and tadpole messages keeping you informed of of all upcoming events. We are starting this month off with our annual Patriotic Celebration and Soda Explosion on July 3rd. Water Wednesdays will run through the month of July with a Family Water Play Day at the end of the month.
With the hotter weather upon us, be sure your child has labeled, extra weather appropriate clothes in their cubbies.
We are looking forward to enjoying this exciting summer with our students.
Sincerely,
Melissa Moenning
Independence Day Activities
Our classrooms will be working on festive activities in honor of Independence Day all week long. On July 3rd, we will wear our red, white, and blue to celebrate the 4th of July and parade outside showcasing our patriotic gear! Then, classrooms will enjoy a spectacular soda firework finale.
Kids Helping Communities
As you all know it is important to teach the children about giving back to the community and this month we are teaming up with Kids Helping Kids by collecting new zoo/animal related book donations donating to the Little Mustard Seed School between July 15th-26th. Look for the book donation box in the school lobby. We appreciate your support in helping us give back to the community.
Family Referral Bonus & Open House
Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? Invite them to our Open House on Tuesday, July 16th and Saturday, August 3rd. When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!
Water Wednesdays
Water days are so much fun! Please continue to send your child to school with their swimsuit on and pack a change of clothes and a towel. Sunscreen should be applied before drop-off. For the safety of our students, we ask that they always wear closed-toe shoes. Thank you for your partnership in creating a safe summer!
