For those of you joining us for another year, we are anxious to share more memories with you and your child as we start the new school year. Our teachers are excited and eager to get to know your little one and watch his/her success unfold over the next few months. July 3- 4th of July Extravaganza (we are asking for 2 liter colored soda donations and mint Mentos candy
July 4- School closed in observance of 4th of July-Independence Day Holiday
July 11-12- Sports Day with Amazing Athletes
July 15-July 26- Kids Helping Kids donation drive
July 16- Robo Band show 10am
July 26- Fun Friday Family Picnic & Kona Ice 3:30pm-4:30pm
Welcome! We have now begun the new school year and with that we would like to remind you of some very important school policies:
*Tuition will be automatically withdrawn from your account Monday of each week, for the current week’s tuition. Tuition is considered delinquent at 9am on Tuesday of each week. A $25 late fee charge will be assessed to late tuition payments.
*We are a NUT FREE school
*We do not allow sharing of food that comes from home, unless it is due to a classroom potluck/party
*Please remember to sign your child in and out each day they are in attendance using the IPAD located on the front desk. Also please remember that you have to sign in during the mornings with your child in hand, and sign out at the end of the day with your child in hand as well.
4th of July Extravaganza- During the morning of July 3rd , we will have our very own “Fireworks at Merryhill.” The children will all gather outside on our play yard to watch the spectacular showcase of soda fizzing to make and create fireworks! We are needing donations of 2L soda bottles and mint Mentos for this event. If you are able to donate, please drop off your soda bottles/Mentos to the front desk no later than July 2nd (colored soda works best)
Kids Helping Kids July 15th-July 26th- Merryhill School is partnering up with the Sacramento Zoo in this years Kids Helping Kids Project. We will be collecting new books to donate to the Little Mustard Seed School and the Greater Sacramento Public Libraries. The Little Mustard Seed school caters to children ages 3-5 who are currently homeless. Please drop off all book donations to the front lobby area by July 26th. Thank you!
Fun Friday Family Picnic! July 26 at 3:30pm- Pack a snack and join us on the lawn for a picnic! We would love all of our families to get to know each other, and a good way to start is to have a picnic together! Pack a snack for your family, bring a lawn blanket, let the kids run around and play while you mingle with other families on Friday July 26th, 3:30pm. We will have Kona Ice here for purchase from 3:45-4:45pm
