A Note from Our Principal
Happy February! The new year is off to a wonderful start by celebrating MLK and Lunar New Years, and we’re excited for what’s to come. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we’re looking forward to celebrating love, friendship, and kindness with your little ones through fun and meaningful activities! We are also excited to learn about Dental Hygiene and Black History Month. As always, it is an honor to work with and watch your children grow. Thank you for choosing our preschool for your family.

Black History Month
February is Black History Month, a time to celebrate the achievements and contributions of African Americans throughout history. In our classrooms, we’ll be exploring stories of inspiring people, both near and far, through books, activities, and conversations that help our students appreciate their impact on the world. February is Black History Month. Our centers will introduce an important figure and provide the children with some important facts and accomplishments. The office will also display an important figure and provide the families with some facts.
100th Day of School
Let’s enjoy a day full of dramatic play, excitement, learning, and memorable moments to celebrate this milestone together! Have your child be creative and dress up like they are 100 years old!
Valentine’s Day
We are celebrating Valentine’s Day on Thursday, February 13th. Children are invited to bring in valentines to share with their classmates and will participate in Valentine-themed activities throughout the day. Your child is welcome to wear Red, Pink or Purple. All Valentine information will be sent home in your End of the Month Folder as each classroom will have a classroom party. Teachers will also participate in the fun by having Valentine Boxes displayed in the Lobby. You are welcome to drop off Valentine cards in their creative box.
Dental Hygiene Month
The children will learn about healthy eating habits along with dental hygiene practices. They will practice brushing their teeth and flossing! The Tooth Fairy will visit the Intermediates and Pre-K classes on February 19th and go over proper care for our teeth. Look out for photos.
