Happy Spring to all our Merryhill families.
We had so much fun in March celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday and looking for the elusive leprechaun. April is going to be just as much fun and will find the students engaged in lessons for Week of the Young Child. Students will learn about environmentally healthy acts to conserve and protect earth. As we honor Animal Awareness month, our students will participate in activities that explore animal habitats, foods, and families. We will also learn about giving respect to animals.
Thank you to all families and to the community for your support of last month’s Art Exhibit. Student artists learned about famous artists and art pieces and were proud to show off what they created. Thank you Mrs.Toni Field for teaching the student and sharing with them her gift of art, and for her efforts to coordinate the successful event.
Please plan for summer by taking a look at our Summer Camp information and registering early to ensure your child’s spot. Like previous years, this summer plans to be an educational, fun-filled, and active camp. See you there in June!
Sincerely,
Kathy Okazaki, Principal
