From the Principal’s Office
Dear Merryhill Families,
As you all know, we blew through October, and we are delighted to welcome November to the school. As the leaves change with the season, you will be noticing continued changes throughout the school as well. We are continuing our renewal of resources and furniture throughout the building, so feel free to let us know what you think!
Looking ahead at November, I want to bring your attention to our family event for the month — Friendship Feast & Festival! We are very proud of this event because it is truly all about honoring you as a family and being part of our school. Another annual favorite is approaching as well, and that is our annual Polar Express Event on Friday, December 9 at 3:00-4:30 PM. I like to give you as much notice to attend, as the children from Beginner 2-Pre-K2 will be performing songs and Santa Claus will be making an appearance. (This is always a great way of getting that Santa picture WITHOUT waiting in the line at the mall!)
As always, we have a lot going on. A major THANK YOU to all of you who participated in our Operation Gratitude: Candy Buy Back program, as much of a favor it is to you — it is all for a good cause, as well! Furthermore, I would like to thank those who participated in our Yankee Candle Fundraising opportunity. This one is always a hit, and I will keep you posted with a total once I know so I can inform you on what we’re able to bring into our program due to the funds raised.
Please keep an eye on the calendar, as the holidays draw closer and closer. I do not want you or your child to miss one opportunity to make a lifetime memory. As always, thank you for choosing our school to create these life changing moments with! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Jherica McEndree, Principal
