The school year has come to a close and summer is upon us. What a wonderful year we have had; special visitors, wonderful parent volunteers and new babies born. Thank you for all of the volunteering and support, from your participation with fund raisers, to attendance at family events. We are so successful because of our wonderful parents.
Our last day of school is Thursday, June 8th. This will be a half day. All students will be released at 11:45 am. Please pick your child up prior to that time. We will be closed on Friday, June 9th and will re-open on Monday, June 12th, to kick off our Summer Session.
As we enter into our Summer Session, a few things to remember: Children do not need to wear uniforms to school during the summer months. Please make sure that if your child wears sandals to school, they have a back strap to secure them onto your child’s feet. Please make sure that your child has a complete change of clothing that is weather appropriate. Please apply sun screen to your child before bringing them to school each day. You are welcome to bring in a bottle of sunscreen for reapplication, in the event that we are able to go outside in the afternoon. If your child is enrolled for a full day rather than an extended day, our full day summer hours are 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Wholesome Tummies DOES NOT provide hot lunch during the summer months. Please send a lunch with your child daily. We will be having “Pizza Friday” EVERY FRIDAY, for $7.00 each week. If you would like to sign your child up to participate, please stop by the front desk. The last day for our Summer Session will be Friday, August 4th. Please note that we will be closed the week of August 7th-11th.
Again, thank you for an amazing year. We look forward to a wonderful summer.
