As we say goodbye to January and welcome February, there are already signs of spring in the air.
Last month, we enjoyed a snow day and were able to participate in a wonderful day of training, filled with pertinent information for developing our staff. As we look ahead to February, please pay attention to the following dates:
Friday, February 2nd-Superbowl Parties: Your child may come to school dressed in his/her favorite team-wear. Please check with your child’s teacher regarding specific celebration details.
Monday, February 5th-Soccer classes resume: If you would like for your child to participate in this session, which will run through April 9th, with the following dates excluded (February 19th and March 5th, 12th, and 26th), please check with the front office for contact and sign-up information.
Friday, February 9th-Pizza Friday: If you have not already signed your child up to participate and would like to do so, please stop by the front desk and we will be happy to assist you.
Wednesday, February 14th-Valentine’s Day: Please check with your child’s teacher regarding classroom specific celebrations.
Monday, February 19th-No School: We will be closed in observance of Presidents’ Day. Have a safe, long weekend.
Monday through Wednesday, February 26th-28th-Lifetouch School Portraits. Please check the schedule that will be posted on the classroom doors to see which days each class will be photographed. If your child plays soccer, they will not be photographed on Monday. We will be sure to have their picture taken on their classroom’s other scheduled day. You are welcome to send your child in clothing other than their school uniform for pictures. Please note, that if you want them changed out of their picture day clothing into something different, you will need to remain on campus to do so.
If you have any questions regarding any of the above dates or events, please do not hesitate to check with someone in the front office.
