Dear Parents,
We are so excited to dive into March and enjoy some fun activities and welcome Spring. On the 11th, we spring forward an hour and get to enjoy some extra daylight in the evenings. With the time change, it is a great reminder to check our smoke detectors at home. Furthermore, it is a perfect time to practice a fire drill at home. Do your children know where to go in the event of a fire? Do they know how to get out of the house in this type of an emergency. At our school, we practice fire drills once a month, bad weather drills four times a year and lock down procedures four times a year.
Our Pre-K students are getting closer and closer to Kindergarten. In the upcoming weeks, we will keep you informed of the local school district dates for registration. Additionally, we will provide some tips to make the transition as smooth as possible. We will be there with our families every step of the way as our students graduate and meet this milestone. More information to come soon.
Our Campzone area has been undergoing a makeover. Our students help decide some of the changes and are excited for the new changes to make our Campzone a modern pre-teen environment. We hope you stop by to take a look.
Sincerely,
Anita Johnson, Principal
Shirley Gent, Assistant Principal
