Spring has finally arrived and we want to make sure all of our students can take full advantage of our outdoor play spaces. One of the best ways to ensure this is for each child’s cubby to be cleaned out and ready for the season. Please make sure your child’s cubby has a full set of well-fitting weather appropriate clothes that are labeled. Additionally, now is a great time to start collecting sunscreen so that we are ready for the first hot and sunny day of the year. Please label all containers of sunscreen that you send to school with your child. Our teachers are planning outdoor games, lessons and picnics to celebrate spring.
Summer Camp registration is coming your way soon. Please keep an eye out for information!
Week of the Young Child is April 16th-20th. We will be celebrating our young children with a week’s long list of STEAM activities.
Our Reading Challenge will be winding down soon with the class with the highest percentage of books read receiving an award. Students have chosen to silly string the principal! We will also have a special treat for all the students for participating!
Our Ladybug Ball will take place on Monday, April 23rd. Students will dress in their best red and black as we release thousands of ladybugs onto our play yard as we celebrate Earth Day.
Sincerely,
Jami Yingling, Principal
