We loved celebrating Week of the Young Child and Earth Day with our students and families! Our classrooms spent the week leading up to and following Earth Day learning about insects, plants, ecology and making art from recycled materials. We released 9,000 ladybugs into our play yard.
It’s hard to believe that our school year is winding down. This month we are busy with many end of the school year activities.
-Family Fiesta will be celebrated at Merryhill Elementary on Friday, May 4th from 6:00-8:30.
-End of the Year Family Hoedown- May 11th, 11:00-1:00
-Pre-K Graduation- May 16th, 9:00-11:00
-Pre-K Pizza with the Principals- May 23rd, 11:30
-Last Day of School- May 24th, (Classes dismiss at 11:30)
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing us to spend this school year with your children. It is because of parents like you that we are able to do what we do.
