Dear Merryhill Families,
October was a fun filled month with activities including our , Pumpkin Patch Family Night, Halloween Trunk or Treat and fall cooking class. Thank you to all of our families that participated in our annual Trunk or Treat and passed out candy to our spectacularly dressed students.
Students also spent the month learning about pumpkins, farms, and community helpers. A huge “Thank You” to the Clark County Fire Department and Las Vegas Metro Police Department for coming out to our school and speaking with the students.
During the month of November, students will be learning all about giving and being thankful. Please be on the look out for our Community Outreach project.
Parent/Teacher Conferences are on November 9th. This is a great opportunity for you to sit down with your child’s teacher and discuss your child’s successes and to set goals for the remainder of the year. Each classroom will have a sign-up sheet on the classroom door for you to choose a time that works best for you. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher. As a reminder, there is no school on conference day for rooms 2, 4, 5, 6 & 7.
Mid month we will have our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon where our families can sit down and have a Thanksgiving Feast with their children. Sign up forms have been sent home.
