A Note From Our Principal
Happy April! What a fun filled month we had in March. Read Across America was such a success with parents reading via zoom to the classrooms, along with our Scholastic Book Fair! Thank you parents for donating books to your child’s classroom. The teachers highly appreciate the parent participation and dedication. We are going to kick off the month of April with Week of the Young Child! Parents should have received a package of all the fun events your child will be participating in. Please don’t forget to download the Links to Home App to see all the fun photos of the children. Now that spring has arrived, we’re looking forward to spending even more time exploring the outdoors. Taking advantage of the beautiful weather helps children learn and grow as they discover new things in their environment. Our teachers are planning outdoor games, lessons and picnics to celebrate spring. We can’t wait to share these activities with your child.
Sincerely,
Karina Medina

The creative baskets will be displayed on Monday and tickets will be available till Friday morning. We will announce winners Friday at noon! have so many fun activities ahead of us.
We are happy to continue our annual tradition of donating to St. Jude. All donation forms were sent home with our Week of the Young Child packets. Your child will learn about helping others and will enjoy the event by participating in our annual Trike-A-Thon. Let’s have fun by decorating your child’s bike. Terrie and I will announce the winners for the Top 3 most creative bikes. Due to everyone participating in the event, the children will enjoy otter pops on Friday!
Be ready for some awesome photos!
Earth Day
Our classes will be celebrating Earth Day by releasing butterflies. We are excited to explore the wonderful world of butterflies through hands on learning experiences this Spring. The children will create journals to document their observations through pictures or inventive spelling! We will observe live caterpillars daily and see the whole process to when they turn into butterflies. On Earth Day, April 22nd, the children will release the butterflies out in the playground! It will be a fun experience!
Egg Hunt
On Friday, April 15th we will have our annual egg hunt. We are asking for parents to donate eggs, so we will have plenty of eggs for everyone. Peter Rabbit will be visiting during the fun event! Get ready for some pictures!
Parent Survey Reminder
We strive for 5’s! Our enrolled parent survey closes April 15th. This survey provides the opportunity for you to give us feedback anonymously on our strengths and areas we can work on. Please let us know if you haven’t received it.
