A Note from Our Principal
What a wonderful start to the new school year! It is so wonderful to see all of our students again! I hope that all of our families have taken the time to ensure that they have purchased enough uniforms to remain in compliance, as well as update their child’s extra clothes in their classroom. As a reminder, extra clothes do not have to be uniforms, however they do need to be in uniform color compliance. If you have any questions around these requirements, please see the front office and we will be happy to assist.
Please take a few moments to ensure that all of your child’s belongings are appropriately labeled (Water bottle, lunch box, backpack, jackets etc.). Our staff does their best to ensure that everything returns home with you at the end of the day. By labeling, we can clearly identify all of the student’s items.
I am so thankful to be a part of such a wonderful and caring Merryhill community. Thank you for all you do, and thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education.
Sincerely,
Erika Van Rhyn, Principal

We’ve gathered three stories to read with your child: Coquíin the City by Nomar Perez, Round is a Tortilla: A Book of Shapes by Roseanne Greenfield Thong, and Camera Full of Wishes by Matt de la Peña.
