Welcome to our 3rd grade class!

My name is Ms. Kang and this is my second year at Merryhill Elementary School, third year teaching in total. I received my Master’s in Education in Los Angeles before moving to Las Vegas!

I am passionate about providing diverse, high-quality education for diverse students. I am an advocate for multiple intelligences, unique learning styles, and a strengths-based approach. This means that all students are intelligent in their own ways and I strive to understand and utilize their strengths to help them reach their academic goals. I hope that this approach will not only help students academically but also develop a love for learning in their hearts!
