Hello Merryhill families. Welcome to Art class with Mr. Francis. We are currently learning about Russian Artist Wassily Kandinsky, his use of concentric shapes and how colors can represent moods. Students will be making different sized hearts and using them in a concentric display. The younger students will also be learning about Kandinsky and concentric shapes. I have added a new art application to the students iPads called iArtbook and they been exploring the app and creating some cool and creative pictures. I am sure they would love to show it to you. Keep checking your students’ folders, I am planning another Art Club when we return from the break in March. I look forward to a great second half of the year and working with your creative students.
