My name is Hayden Beers, and this is my fourth year teaching at Merryhill. I am a former middle school History teacher, and I began my journey into education when I substitute taught elementary school while earning my degree from UNLV. I can’t wait to meet you all, and I hope to make second grade one of your most fun and memorable years yet!
This year, you will learn all sorts of new and exciting material in your core subjects. You will play games, read exciting stories, and work on fun projects that challenge you to learn more about yourselves and the world that surrounds you. We will discuss many brave and interesting historical figures that have shaped our world into what it is today. All I ask is that you come ready to learn, and continue to be responsible, compassionate students. Get ready for a fun year!
