Welcome to technology. I am Mr. Crawford, your technology teacher and guru. I come from Houston, Texas and recently moved to Las Vegas with my wife and amazing daughters. I love to spend time working on technology, spending time with my family, and helping those around me.
Technology Class
In this class we will explore the various stages of technology. This class will give students of all ages the basics of typing, computer usage, and eventually coding. I hope to make this an enjoyable class for all.
Maker Space
Maker Space is a class for sixth graders. This class focuses on digital production and design. Over the first few weeks, the students learn to film and edit, as well as add sound effects to, personal videos. In collaboration with Mrs. Hayes for Science, the students have been working to produce documentaries about forest fires.
Yearbook
Yearbook is another class exclusive to sixth graders (it pays to be a middle schooler). This class allows students to work on a digital yearbook. Students get to take pictures and work on the design of the final yearbook. Valuable skills from Maker Space are built upon in Yearbook.

Please make sure that your student has their assigned iPad and that it is charged on their technology day. For sixth grade, they will need a fully charged iPad daily.
