Teacher Info:
I graduated from UC Santa Cruz, majoring in Mathematics with a minor in Astrophysics. I also have associate degrees from American River College in General Science, Social Science, English Literature and Communication (and more!). I have been in education for 10 years. I spent years as a classroom teacher, and later as director of a tutoring center doing work in intervention and educational advocacy. I love all subjects but I am especially excited to teach animal science! In my free time, I enjoy backpacking, listening to live music, and reading my favorite author Octavia E. Butler.
