Hello Merryhill! My name is Lindsey Laudato and I am the K-5 Technology teacher. I also have two middle school electives including M2News. In previous years I taught fifth grade, which helped me come to know the curriculum standards and integrate technology in the classroom. Prior to teaching here, I taught 6th grade for five years in Utah.I received my B.S. in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University with a minor is Speech and Language Pathology. I am also an Apple Teacher and Certified Apple Learning Coach.
The focus of my classroom is to learn and practice 21st century skills as well as provide an environment of community where the students can become high level thinkers and life-long learners through the scope of technology. As an Apple Teacher, technology is integrated throughout our school day as we use both the 1:1 iPads, teach and apply various apps to support homeroom class projects and learn basic skills for each grade level. New this year is our Middle School Midtown Mentor program where grade 6-8 students will be working with our younger learners to support them in technology.
