My name is Michael Egan, and this is my third year teaching at Merryhill Midtown. Before this, I have worked in various educational settings across California for 10 years. I graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelors of Arts, with a minor in Art History. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and camping with my family.

The aim of this year’s English Language Arts program is to improve student reading comprehension skills and engaging in analysis while exploring a variety of topics and genres.

The class will focus on the following areas: Literature, Composition, Grammar, Usage and Mechanics, and Vocabulary.
