My name is Ms. Araceli and I will be your new Spanish teacher at Merryhill Elementary.
I completed my Bachelor’s of Arts degree in psychology from San Jose State University. I am a native Spanish speaker, specifically of Mexican heritage. Therefore, I am familiar with the Spanish culture and am very excited to teach about some important topics of the Hispanic culture.
Moreover, I have been working with students for more than five years, so I hope to be a great source of your child’s learning by expanding their knowledge and understanding of the Spanish language and culture. I will be teaching Merryhill students about the tastes, sounds, sights and feelings that invigorate the Spanish language.
As a new member of the Merryhill family, I will be learning alongside your child, and I understand that every child has a unique approach to the learning of a foreign language. For that reason, I am determined to have a personalized method to my instruction so the students are able to achieve their goals.
